A New Name for the New Year; Firm Adds New Member, Associate

Richard Stanley, Bryan Reuter, William Ross, and Jennifer Thornton are pleased to announce that Stanley, Flanagan & Reuter, L.L.C., has become Stanley, Reuter, Ross, Thornton & Alford, L.L.C., and to welcome W. Raley Alford, III, as a new member and Alison N. deClouet as an associate.

Mr. Alford joined the firm in 2003 following a two-year judicial clerkship with the Honorable James L. Dennis of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Alford graduated Order of the Coif in 2001 from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he was a Member of the Louisiana Law Review. Before attending law school, he earned an undergraduate degree in International Trade and Finance and minors in Economics and Spanish from Louisiana State University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Alford concentrates his practice in commercial and tort litigation, advising small and medium-sized businesses, and the representation of electric utilities.

Ms. deClouet earned her J.D. in 2007 from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she graduated Order of the Coif, ranked second in her graduating class, and was a Member and Production Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. After law school, Ms. deClouet clerked for the Honorable Carl J. Barbier of the United Stated District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Ms. deClouet earned undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and English from Tulane University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
