jlt@stanleyreuter.com Jennifer Thornton practices primarily in commercial litigation and appellate advocacy. Ms. Thornton also has an active entertainment and intellectual property practice. Ms. Thornton graduated cum laude from Tulane University in 1995, and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in English Literature from Georgia State University in 1997. She graduated magna cum laude from Tulane Law School in 2000, where she was an Articles Editor of the Tulane Law Review and the recipient of the Law Review Rufus C. Harris Law Review Award in Civil Law. Ms. Thornton also received awards in Legal Profession, Securities Rights, Louisiana Property, and Louisiana Real Estate. After graduation, Ms. Thornton served as law clerk to the Honorable Catherine D. Kimball on the Louisiana Supreme Court and to the Honorable Carl J. Barbier on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, before becoming associated with Stanley, Flanagan & Reuter in 2002.
