Michelle M. West joined the firm in 2010. Ms. West graduated summa cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in History. She was awarded the President’s Medal for Academic Excellence for achieving the highest grade point average among all graduates from the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences; the Harold Leu Political Science Award, as the most outstanding graduate in Political Science; and, the Green “S” Award for outstanding leadership and service.

Ms. West graduated Order of Coif from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she was a research assistant to Professor William R. Corbett, a member of the Louisiana Law Review, winner of the Ira S. Flory Trial Competition, member of the Trial Ad Board, and a quarterfinalist in the Tullis Moot Court Quarterfinalist. She also received awards in Torts, Evidence, International Intellectual Property, and Legal Profession.
